Hello Everyone,
I would like to thank all of you for spending a beautiful Sunday afternoon with me
participating in the Pinhole Camera Workshop.
As with every workshop, we never have enough time to cover all of the information
and Sunday was no exception.
I was very pleased to see all of you experimenting and trying different things.
That’s what learning is all about and I was happy to see that none of you were
afraid to try something knowing that it may not turn out well.
Even though we spent five hours together, I didn’t get a chance to share the resources
with you. So, I’m attaching the links for you to check out.
If you have a specific question that you can’t find, please email me and I will do my best to get you the answer.
There is a lot of information out there, but please consider how you can make it
more personal to you.
Don’t worry about how beautiful your pictures will look.
Take pictures for yourself first, by imagining that nobody else will see these pictures for a long time. Perhaps maybe never.
Taking pictures of what you care about and how you feel is a good start.
As with everything in life, there should be a balance.
If you only like to have fun with your camera, think about what else you can do
and say with that powerful tool.
If you are very serious about photography, learn the technical stuff but don’t let the
technic be the most impressing feature of the picture.
Think about how you can share your passion by exchanging resources.
And, encourage others to say what they believe in to make changes for the better.
Also, I would like to ask all of you for a favor by giving me some feed back about the workshop. Please let me know how I can make the workshop better.
Get more organized? more resources? more references of other photographers?
more technical info???
Finally, please let me know what other kinds of photography related workshops you are interested in, so that we can meet again to share and have fun.
Cheers,
Syko

Cheers
Syko
