About Paper
Choice of paper is important to making good prints and for archival qualities.
Generally speaking, you should use 100% cotton, acid-free papers but we encourage you to try different papers and surfaces as well. You may also consider choosing the paper for its color as some paper is warmer than the other.
Most watercolor and etching papers work well for A.P.P. but specific type of paper works better for one process over the other. There are also many types of paper designed specifically for A.P.P. such as Arches Platine, Bergger COT-320, Buxton, Crane’s platinotype, Lenox, & Silversafe but not easily obtainable in Taiwan.
想要沖印出好的影像以及好的保存品質，選擇好的紙張是很重要的。
一般來說你需要選擇100%的棉紙及無酸的品質，但是我們還是鼓勵大家去嘗試不同的紙張、不同
的紙面質感，或許你也會考慮使用較溫暖色調的紙質也說不定。
大部分的水彩紙或是凹版版畫紙都適用於日光顯影沖印，但是有些紙張只適用於日光顯影中的其一技法，卻不適用其他種類的(例如適用於凡戴克沖印的紙，卻不一定適用於氰版)。
以下有幾種是設計給日光顯影專用的紙張，Arches Platine, Bergger COT-320, Buxton, Crane’s platinotype, Lenox, & Silversafe。但是在台灣這些紙都不易取得。

Arches 185g hot press
Arches 185g 熱壓水彩紙
Thin and smooth. Warm in color.
Works well for Cyanotype, Van Dyke, Argyrotype & Palladium prints Works well with or without the coating aid such as gum or Tween-20 (emulsifier). Image can be correctly evaluated after the paper is completely dried. So far the best choice we can find in Taiwan for different types of A.P.P. processes.
紙質有溫暖的色調、較薄、平順。
適用於氰版攝影、凡戴克棕色沖片系列或是鈀金沖印。塗覆顯影劑的過程中也不需特別加入阿拉伯膠或乳化劑，就能夠得到良好的影像。到目前為止Arches熱壓水彩紙，是我們在台灣找到適用於各種不同日光顯影的紙張。
Canson watercolor 300g cold press
Canson 水彩紙 300g 冷壓
Thicker than Arches 185g hot press. Textured.
Does not work well for Cyanotype but ok for Van Dyke.
Not good with emulsifier (too absorbent).
比起Arches185g熱壓水彩紙厚實，有紙質的紋理。不適用於氰版攝影以及添加乳化
劑使用，但適用於凡戴克沖印。
Coffee Filter (white ones from Costco)
咖啡濾紙 (Costco買到的白色濾紙)
Works well for Cyanotype and Van Dyke.
Probably not very archival, but very cheap and fun to play with.
適用在氰版和凡戴克沖片，效果都還不錯
不過影像可能無法保存太久，但是非常的便宜，有興趣的人可以試玩看看。
Ecru 640g hot press
Ecru 640g熱壓水彩紙
Thick and fairly smooth. Slightly warm in color. Not as smooth or warm as Arches 185g hot press.
Does not work well for Cyanotype or Ziatype but nice for Van Dyke & Argyrotype.
紙質平順厚實，帶有微微的溫暖色調，但沒有Arches 185g熱壓水彩紙平滑和溫暖。
不適用在氰版和齊亞沖片，但適用於棕色沖片系列(如凡戴克沖片、Argyrotype)。
Faung
楓丹紙
Does not work well for Cyanotype but good for Van Dyke.
Works better than Canson watercolor but not as good as Arches hot press.

Fabriano 5

Textured and white in color.
Works ok for Cyanotype but better with Van Dyke.
Works better without the coating aid such as gum or Tween-20 (emulsifier).
紙面紋理較明顯，帶冷調的白色紙質。
較適合用於氰版，但不是和添加阿拉伯膠或乳化劑來做為調整。
Saunders Somerset 240g
山度士版畫紙 240g
Fairly smooth, soft and absorbent.
Does not work well for Cyanotype or Van Dyke (too absorbent).
Not recommended.
非常的平滑、柔軟且吸水率良好
不適用於氰版、凡戴克棕色沖片(吸水性太強)
不建議使用!
Whatman printmaking
華特曼版畫紙
Similar to Ecru and Fabriano 5 thick and heavy.
Very soft and absorbent.
Does not work well for Cyanotype or Van Dyke (too absorbent).
Can produce near black colored image with Agyrotype but still has problem with being too absorbent.
Not recommended.
類似於Ecru and Fabriano 5這兩張紙的厚實感。
非常柔軟且吸水率良好。
不適用於氰版、凡戴克棕色沖片(吸水性太強)，
用於Agyrotype(棕色沖片家族之一)可以洗出近似黑白的影像，惟一的問題，吸水率還是太好，也不建議使用。

Smooth close to white in color.
Works great for palladium prints. With Van Dyke the color is much warmer than other papers. More expensive than others.

價錢也比其他紙張貴。
Moulin Du Gue
Thick and heavier texture. Warm in color.
Works great for Van Dyke. Not good for cyanotype.
Works well with or without the coating aid such as gum or Tween-20 (emulsifier).
非常厚實且溫暖的紙質。
非常適合用於凡戴克棕色沖片，但不適用於氰版。
塗覆顯影劑時也不需特別加入阿拉伯膠或乳化劑。
Vellum
Very smooth and translucent.
Works well for cyanotype and Van Dyke.
